Terms of Service

Who we are

SkillFlow is an online learning service for children, managed by their parents or guardians. These Terms of Service are a contract between you (the parent or guardian who creates the account) and the operator of SkillFlow.

SkillFlow is operated from Canada.

Who can use SkillFlow

You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of every child whose profile you create. Children use SkillFlow only through a profile created and controlled by you.

Your account

Keep your registration details accurate and your login credentials (and your children's PINs) private. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per adult; you may not transfer it.

Early access

SkillFlow is currently in free early access. There is no charge, no subscription and no payment method: we never ask for a card, and nothing can be billed to you while early access is running. The paid plans described elsewhere on our site are not on sale yet, and the sections of these terms about billing, renewal and refunds do not apply to you.

Early access is provided as a courtesy rather than as a purchased service. We may change it, limit how many child profiles or lessons an account receives, or withdraw it, and we do not guarantee that any lesson, topic or feature will remain available.

When early access ends we will email you at least 14 days beforehand. You will never be charged automatically: a paid subscription starts only if you actively choose a plan and enter a payment method. If you do nothing, new lessons simply stop being generated and your account stays readable so you can review or export past work.

You can export or delete your data at any time, during early access and after it ends. Because nothing is ever charged during early access, no refund can arise from it.

AI-generated lessons

Lessons, reviews and feedback are generated by artificial-intelligence systems and are not individually reviewed by a teacher. They may contain mistakes. Please look at your child's results and reviews, and treat SkillFlow as practice material — not as a substitute for a teacher, tutor or professional educational assessment. We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer SkillFlow or its lessons, share your account, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service or violate these terms.

Content and ownership

SkillFlow, its lessons, software and branding belong to us or our licensors. Your child's work (answers, drawings, handwriting) belongs to your family; you give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service, including sending it to our AI providers to review it.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

SkillFlow is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer-protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use SkillFlow after that date means you accept the new terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
